Our plastic packaging range is made with a minimum of 25% recycled plastic (RPET), with a target of reaching 50% RPET content by 2030.

We purchased carbon credits to support environmental protection projects that fully offset our Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO₂e emissions for the years 2022 and 2023. The offset was officially obtained in 2024.

Projects supported for CO₂ Offsetting

Congo

2023: Mai Ndombe REDD+ project, for the introduction of sustainable agriculture, forest conservation and reforestation.

In 2023, we have been supporting Wildlife Works and their Mai Ndombe REDD+ project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Funded through carbon credit offsetting, the initiative protects 300,000 hectares of rainforest and promotes sustainable agriculture, helping reduce deforestation and illegal logging. In collaboration with local communities and government authorities, project activities were selected to address urgent environmental and social needs through a participatory approach.

These actions focus on four key pillars: stopping legal and illegal logging, enhancing agricultural practices, empowering villages via Local Development Committees (CLDs), and fostering infrastructure and socio-economic progress. Through the project’s Cahier de charges—its social responsibility pact—concrete goals have been set: building at least 20 schools, healthcare centers in five villages, repairs and upgrades to hospitals in two communities, logistical support to farmers for market access, creation of a rural food supply network, and the spread of more efficient farming techniques.

By aligning with several Sustainable Development Goals—including quality education, health, food security, gender equality, and biodiversity conservation — the project positively impacts over 50,000 people, combining climate action with human development.

We use 99% renewable energy in our production facilities, significantly reducing our environmental footprint and actively supporting climate protection.

In 2023, we installed a 2,500 m² photovoltaic system at our Val di Meti plant, enabling on-site generation of clean energy.
