Excellence & Accountability
Through ethical governance, operational rigor, and a culture of continuous improvement, we hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards. Excellence isn’t an end—it’s the soil in which lasting trust takes root.
Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) Certification
A shared responsibility: protecting water, our most precious resource
Water is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why Galvanina has embraced the principles of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS )— the first global standard for the sustainable and inclusive management of water resources.
The AWS Standard promotes water stewardship as the use of water that is socially and culturally equitable, environmentally sustainable, and economically beneficial. It is based on five key outcomes:
Good Water Governance
Transparent and inclusive decision-making on water use
Sustainable Water Balance
Ensuring withdrawals do not exceed sustainable limits
Good Water Quality
Maintaining or improving water quality for people and ecosystems
Protection of Water-Related Areas
Safeguarding and restoring vital ecosystems
Access to Safe Water and Sanitation (WASH)
Guaranteeing clean water and sanitation for workers and communities
Galvanina has achieved AWS certification for all its production sites, confirming our commitment to responsible water management and stakeholder engagement.
This milestone reflects our dedication to continuous improvement, transparency, and the long-term protection of water resources in the territories where we operate.
Safety and Quality: Our Daily Commitment
At Galvanina, food safety is a core value that guides every decision we make—from the selection of ingredients to the distribution of the final product. Every day, we work to ensure that our beverages meet the highest international standards for quality and safety.
Our production processes take place in facilities certified to BRC and IFS standards, and each product undergoes rigorous checks before leaving the plant.
For us, food safety is not a final destination but an ongoing journey. This is why we continuously update our procedures—so we can offer our consumers products that are consistently safe, high-quality, and trustworthy.
Beyond Bottles: Galvanina’s Vision of Sustainability for People and Places
Galvanina supports the Città ad Impatto Positivo, a Benefit Corporation that promotes sustainability as a concrete driver of environmental, social, and cultural transformation. Through this collaboration, the company contributes to generating shared value, strengthening its active role within the communities where it operates.
Since 2023, thanks to Galvanina’s support, 60 trees have been planted in urban areas of Rimini, contributing to the regeneration of the territory and the absorption of approximately 600 kg of CO₂. A simple yet meaningful gesture that reflects the company’s commitment to biodiversity protection and the fight against climate change.
The impact also extends to the social sphere: over 76,000 km have been traveled by a specially equipped vehicle provided free of charge, ensuring daily mobility for vulnerable individuals. The service operates six days a week and fosters inclusion, autonomy, and active participation in community life.
In parallel, Galvanina and Città ad Impatto Positivo have jointly promoted educational programs aimed at younger generations, involving 60 students in learning and project-based activities centered on environmental and social sustainability. The initiative rewarded the most deserving projects with five scholarships, encouraging awareness, creativity, and civic engagement.
All these actions have been assessed using the SROI (Social Return on Investment) approach: for every €1.00 invested in the project, a social return worth at least €8.50 was generated. This result confirms Galvanina’s vision: sustainability is a path of excellence rooted in responsibility, transparency, and the ability to generate concrete and measurable long-term impacts.
